Leading food processing solutions provider Marel appoints Graeme Rolinson Global Sales Director, Cross Industry, effective 1 February 2021
For almost a decade, Graeme Rolinson has been helping to grow Marel’s business in the UK and Ireland. Still based in the UK, Graeme will now turn his attention to Marel’s Cross-Industry portfolio for the global market.
Marel provides software, services, systems and solutions to food processors around the world, predominantly in the fish, meat and poultry industries. In many cases, these technologies are applicable into more than one protein, or even outside the protein processing industries altogether.
More and more similarities across industries – in the secondary and further processing steps of the value chain, for instance, such as portioning, batching, weighing and marinating – are being identified, thus creating more cross-industry opportunities.
In December 2020, Graeme took the interim role of CSO for the TREIF Integration into Marel and on 1 February 2021 took the position of Global Sales Director, Cross Industry. Graeme is now responsible for building up Marel's direct sales channels and partner channels around the world for Cross-Industry solutions.
